Guiding a ATV tour in Utah's West Desert

Bryan was born on May 19th, 1968 in Fullerton, California. At the age of 3, he moved with his parents to Orem, Utah, to be closer to his extended family. At the age of 8, Bryan's Grandfather, Frank Stratton (founder and owner of Tour West Whitewater Adventures), introduced him to River Running by taking him down the Salmon River and Colorado River (Grand Canyon & Cataract Canyon).

At the age of 14 Bryan began boatman training and he guided his first trip through the Grand Canyon at the age of 18. Since then he has logged over 200 river trips. In 1989, Bryan began guiding snowmobile trips with High Country Snowmobliles in Park City, Utah. During his career Bryan has logged thousands of snowmobile trips in several states.

In the spring of 2003, Bryan created Intermountain Guide Service (IGS) and on July 4th began operations as a concessionaire of Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort, offering Fly-Fishing, Horseback Rides, and ATV tours.

Bryan lives in Salt Lake City and has 4 children. Bryan hopes that his efforts as a father, guide, and social worker will provide loved ones and many others with quality experiences in the outdoors.

"It is satisfying for me to watch people decompress over a matter of hours or days while guiding them through some of the most beautiful country in the world."

When you call Intermountain Guide Service you will speak with me, I look forward to talking to you!
